Erin, Michelle, Emily and I travelled to Chicago this Friday, March 23, 2007, to attend a meeting of the Society for Neuroscience local Chicago chapter. We enjoyed talks during the morning session by Drs. Christopher Goetz, Un Jang Kang, Herbert Meltzer and Paul Vezina. The session was focused on discoveries related to dopamine in the last 50 years, and also served as a commemoration of the contributions and influence of Frank White. Many thanks to Micky Marinelli who did so much to organize the meeting.
Both Erin and Michelle presented a poster in the Undergraduate Poster session.
Below are some pictures taken at the poster session, and during our sojourn in Chicago.

After the awards presentation. Both Erin and Michelle received a flash drive, and Michelle’s poster was awarded 3rd place in the overall competition – she won $100!
Visiting OZ Park:

With the cowardly lion.

Flashing the lab sign. I totally forced them to do this.

With the tin man.
Me in the picture.
